A basic email address can send and receive emails while displaying your domain name. Compared to its Professional counterpart (Business Email Accounts) these lightweight emails come with a reduced price tag and less storage. If used as-is then we recommend a POP3 setup. If used with additional storage add-ons, we recommend an IMAP setup for multiple device synchronization and online email backups.

 

If you are using IMAP settings: Emails are automatically synced once received on the server, making delivery near instantaneous.

If you are using POP3 settings: Emails are periodically checked, the mail checking frequency depends on your device’s local settings.

Can it be linked with gmail?

Yes, it can be added to your Gmail account as an alias from which you will be able to send and receive emails.
We provide a free setup service for this via AnyDesk remote connection on your PC.

*Please note that Gmail aliases ONLY utilize POP3 connections.
